What it does

Everything a house
argues about, settled.

Who was supposed to do it, when it was due, whether it counts as a big job or a small one — ChoreKeep keeps all of it in one place, so nobody has to keep it in their head.

One household. One list. No side conversations.

Share a code, and everyone you live with joins the same household. Assign a chore to one person, split it across several, or leave it open for whoever gets to it first.

Rooms, not one endless list

Chores live in the room they belong to, so you can see at a glance where the house needs attention.

Set it once. Let it come back.

Build a repeating schedule with its own due time, then turn on round-robin so it rotates through the people you picked instead of always landing on the same one.

Not every chore is the same size

Every chore carries an effort level, so the leaderboard reflects what the work actually took — not just who ticked more boxes. Turn it off entirely if your house would rather not compete.

Come back to a clean slate

Vacation Mode pauses reminders while you’re away and forgives the chores that fell during the trip — so you land to an empty list instead of a wall of overdue.

Setting up

Four screens and you’re running.

No spreadsheets to port over, no point system to design. The setup asks four things and then gets out of the way.

01

Name your Keep

Create a household — or join one with its invite code if someone beat you to it.

02

Pick your rooms

Start from the eight presets or add your own. Each room gets an icon and a colour so it’s recognisable at a glance.

03

Take the starter chores

ChoreKeep suggests the usual suspects — dishes, trash, laundry, sheets. Keep the ones that apply and you’re set up.

04

Get everyone in

Share the invite code. From then on you’re all looking at the same list, and nobody has to ask whose turn it is.

Inside the app

Four screens, four questions.

What’s mine? What’s due? Who already handled it? And — if your house likes that sort of thing — who’s ahead?

Light and dark

Two complete themes, not one inverted afterthought.

Light, dark, and system themes are all first-class — the dark build isn’t an inverted afterthought. Drag the handle to compare.

Work through the feed

Chores grouped by overdue, due today, and done — tick them off without opening anything.

See the week coming

Switch between the week strip and a full month calendar to plan around what’s already booked.

Settle who did what

The activity feed records every completion, filterable by person, room, or chore type.

Make effort visible

With gamification on, points are weighted by effort so the hard jobs actually count.

Free is a real plan, not a trial.

Anyone sharing a home and the work that comes with it — couples splitting the week, families with kids old enough to have jobs on the list, and roommates who would rather look at an app than have the conversation again.

One household with unlimited rooms, one-off chores, and repeating chores — plus assignees, due dates, effort levels, reminders, the activity feed, and the leaderboard. Pro adds multiple households, round-robin rotation, and Vacation Mode.

See exactly what Pro unlocks

No. Pro applies to the household, so one subscription unlocks the premium features for every active member. Multiple households is the one benefit tied to the individual Pro account that bought it.

Pick the members a repeating chore should rotate through, and ChoreKeep hands each occurrence to the next person in turn. If someone pauses for a trip, the rotation skips them and picks back up when they’re home.

Vacation Mode pauses reminders for a date range and forgives the chores that fall inside it, for the whole household or just for you. You come home to an empty list rather than a fortnight of overdue.

Every household has a twelve-character invite code, shown as three groups of four, that you can share however you like. Each person signs in with their own ChoreKeep account and lands in the same list as you.

No. Gamification is a household setting you can switch off. With it on, completed chores earn points scaled by effort level so a deep clean counts for more than a quick tidy.

ChoreKeep is available free on Google Play, with an App Store release in progress. Email us and we’ll tell you the day it reaches the stores — no newsletter, no drip campaign.
